Can anyone explain to me........
This is knod of embarassing, but here I go:
What EXACTLY is the PC3 , and what is mapping????
I have an idea what it is all about, but would like some detail, or a reference on where to learn more.

PCIII is Power Commander 3. It is produced by Dynojet. It is an electronic box with which you can adjust the air-fuel ratio of the combustible mixture going into your engine. Because it is a third generation model it will also accept adjustments to your ignition advance.
Both these adjustments mean you can gain maximum power or mileage from any combination of after market parts that you may wish to install on your bike.

Is there a difference between DynoJet's unit and the unit made for K&N???
