Yeah so we had a great ride today despite the weather. I can keep up with Dino just fine. If only the roads were drier and the weather was hotter, then I'd have more confidence going into the turns....as Dino says "rail" the turns.
Rode with 10 other bikers, lost one, picked up another...a brand new, one-week old, less than 100 miles, 2004 R1....that sucker was really LOUD for being stock pipes...very pretty bike but no 10R that's for sure. The guy said it has no bottom end power at all, especially compared to prior R1's. Totally different feel, and it doesnt take off till after 8grand...redline is like 13.5grand...noticed his tires were worn all the way over as well.
Got some pics...we'll throw up here eventually. Got a call from Ozzy, wormhole too called while we were watchin moto dvd's....
I have missed my 12! Jumped back on and didnt miss a beat, damn I love to ride!
Oregon has some serious issues...gas is $2 a gallon, we even saw a Nissan Pulsar jacked up on 42inch tires....we should all chip in and have Dino move outta this state....
Just drilled a Pit Bull wheel chock into my truck, loaded the 12 up, headin back to WA tomorrow mornin...
