Polishing My Frame,,,pics!!!

Should look pretty good when I'm done,,,lots of work and very messy!!!Still need to do the final "color" buffing!!!Tell me what ya think!!!

A lot of work and you still need to do the steering head without messing up the bearings!

Hard labor always shows!Beautiful Vin!Did you have to sand or grind the frame to get it that smooth?I checked mine and it has a rough cast texture.What polishing agent did you use?

Scary,LOL yep thats me

1.220 sand till all pits are gone
2.320 wet sand
3.400 wet sand
4.600 wet sand
5.1000 wet sand
6.6in. Spiral Buff Wheel with Tripoli Compound,buff
till you think it's good then buff it one more time!!
7.6in. Loose Section Buff wheel with White Rouge Compound,this step takes some time to get Just Right,hard to see in the pics but I still have some "cloudy" spots!!!
