It's a collection of "Some" of the parts that have been "removed" off a few of the bikes that have went down at Deals Gap.
In reality they probably would have to have a bunch more trees to support all the plastic and hardware that has been scattered along that 11 mile stretch of road. They see a lot of "get offs" in that area due to difficulty of the road. It will bite you if you're not careful, but if you keep your cool, and don't ride over your head it is an awesome experience. I've made several passes through the gap and it is a rush for sure. I've had a few close calls which were mainly the result of me getting into a corner too hot, but luckily I've been able to gather the bike up and keep it shinny side up. 
I wish I could say the same about my experiences on Little River road.  It's nowhere near as technical as the gap, but any road can be tough when you're having an "Off" day.
