Real h.i.d & real expensive ZX12R-BULB,12V 60/55W,(H4)
Our newest HID conversion kit. This is a Dual beam HID which utilizes both your High/Low beams through 1 bulb. Currently this conversion kit is only available in the H4 style bulb. We are currently working on a Dual
8000K systems Price: $545.95
Replacement (1)bulb Price: $164.95 http://www.hidstore.com/newdualbeam8.html
8000K Straight On ViewPicture does not do full justice on this car because the light is so bright it took the digital camera out of focus. Ultra-bright with a solid purple tint just like Porsche and Mercedes. This picture was taken with the garage lights on!! Incredible performance and driving safety.

yeah, there's a few companies that do it. i'v seen it cheaper than that, like in the $400 range, but dont remember where. i'm sure quality is an issue. the hardware (which is to say the transformer/igniter box, whatever it's called) isnt all that big from what i'v seen. still gotta be a pain to locate tho. biggest issue as i understand it is it screws up your healight pattern somewhat since the filament position & shape isnt exactly the same. still works tho. seems to me 8000k is WAY too high colour temp. that's significantly past sunlight.
oh, i'm not sure if the cheaper kits i'v seen were dual beam btw.

Beans.. are you gay?
There is a guy over on SH.org that makes up kits for the Busa. He could probably do one for the 12 if he had a spare headlight assembly.

I have a 2003 kawasaki ZX12R it takes the( H4 bulb).
would I be able to use this kit(8000 Dual beam HID)?
Thanks
you can use the kit.. just split it down the middle if you only need 1 side of the kit... we are currently back ordered on it and will have them in 2 weeks.... but it would be good to put your order in now so we don't sell out again.

The light burns cooler than the stock 55w halagen the 8000k only draws 33w and brighter than the sun!!!Better to see me with $545.95 is alot though they do have 6500k and 4500k.night riding would be better.

windowmaker, don't confuse colour temp with heat. colour temp refers to the color itself. with headlights it goes yellow -> white -> blue as temp goes up. sunlight is 5500k i believe? frankly i suspect the 8000k number is a rather vicious twisting of the truth. maybe that's just the colour temp when looking at it off-center where u get that blue or purple tint like frmo OEM HID systems.
yeah, that 33w fact kinda put me off too, as it said 60/55W at the top of ur post. i know HID's generally only pull about 35W or thereabouts. i hate these bulb stores, especially the onlien ones. they tend to market to the most gullible, hormone driven teens and get as close to outright lying as they can without technically actaully lying. guess auto headlights is the second choice for people who couldnt quite make politics eh?
