ZX12 Prices
I have been looking for new ZX12s in the Houston area. One of the dealers is expecting the '04s in this week and it will be $10,700 OTD. The dealers here also have new, in the crate '01 A2s, '02 B1s, and '03 B2 models for sale.
I would not mind a new '02 model, but what is a reasonable price for a new '02? How much deduct for sitting in the crate for this time?
Any input welcomed and appreciated.

They're asking full boat for the older models too???
Go for $8600 for the B1 and 2 models. Or wait and buy an 04 in September.

They are asking $9995 OTD for the B1, which seems way out of line to me. The B2s are about $10400 OTD. I was thinking more like offering what you suggested, as that seems reasonable.

I call BS on those prices Widow.
I bet that book or website lists an KZ1000R with a retail of $1200 or less.
Ill buy 10 at that price...lol
2000-01 go for $5700-6700
2002-03 go for $6500-8500
Accessories and condition dictate the final selling price.

When I was down at the dealer here in Spokane merely just entertaining the idea of trading my 12 in, he told me the low on the 2002 model is only $5500, the equivalent of trade in value because he said he would sell them on his sales floor for roughly $7500....
That said, WidowMaker's prices are actually extremely accurate. And the longer you wait, they just keep dropping in price.
