Does any prep work have to be done before something can be anadozied? Any negatives to anadozing something?

Not a big negative but castings sometimes can have a blotchy finnish, wheels to.

Different alloys color differently. A newly machined part works best, stay away from colors on castings. Welds generally look bad.

I've found out you need to polish the part well for a smooth finish.

I am going to have a few things Anodized gold soon.maby next week I will post a photo as soon as I get it back takes 2 to 3 days local place.
