Before the 12 was holding its own against the Busa. But now that the Turbo Busa is out. The zx12 is getting beat up on, so out come the Turbo's

Actually, since the 12 always had more power, they started working on the Busa First! Even Hindle (as much as he is into Kawasaki's) made the step tube for the Busa First! Now that the 12 is Kicking the Busa all over the place, First with small modifications and then NOS, the only next step was Turbo! On the Busa, the Air Box is easy, but the engine crank and rods are not as strong as the 12 so the Kits cost less, but the engine work cost more! Now that the Frame Work is done for the 12's, it will be NOS / Turbo Busas which is why I plan to spray a little even with turbo!

To me, there are three areas of problems for the 12 frame. The inspection Plates, the Air Filter openings and even though one side of the frame has the turbo and the other side has a cover, how do you seal all of the leaks & Holes?

Do you take runny filled Epoxy and just wipe it around everywhere? Then how much pressure can the stock 3 bolts take? Do we have to drill and tap special bolt patterns for 6 bolt plates?? The frame really is a question for me?

Vincent... you can experiment with a compressor.
A freeze plug must be installed near the steering neck of the frame. THe rest is fairly easy.
A schrader valve installed on the inspection covers or on a plate over the ram air duct will allow you to pressurize the frame. YOu can start with 2psi and work up to whatever. Pretty easy to find leaks that way.

Steve, Even I can understand what you said! Plus I will know exactly how much pressure the space will hold! My #1 Problem would seem to be, The area where the AIr Filters are? I have seen the work Muzzy had to do, but once you weld up that area, you are committed to the Turbo! I want to seal the box Before the turbo!

Yep, but to do it right you can't go back if you wanted to sell your 12. That is way the Busa is looking better to turbo. VH what other things do you see as weak links on a Busa?
