Should I do this? I have a Green 2003 ZX12R and the dealer has a new blue 2004 and I want the new 04 but I want to keep the green
so I offered him switch plastic's from my 03 to the 04 also rims
and pipe and he said ok, we haven't worked out a price yet but if it ain't over $2000 I might do it. My bike has 4000 miles, In return I will get the new 04 with the new sub throtle bodies and the new front breaking system also a newer bike.
My green plastic is in mint shape.

I would'nt do it, cause if you ever sell it ,it would bring doubt in peoples mind etc. I did this in 1974 with a Suzuki GT380 and when it came time to sell it it became a pain in the ass! (Ya I'm an old fart)

Sooo, even more reason to buy the ' 04 and finance it!!!...Since the ' 03 is paid off...Just do it already!!!

Sell the bike outright later this year... and buy at the end of the season.
Thats what I would do. There's gonna be ZX12 surplus all over the place with the new 10 coming out. ____________
