Cycle Sports of Salem OR........ Have just redeemed themselves.
I finally made it to my local dealer last Friday and had a talk with the Service Manager. He has been there longer than anyone other than the owner. (owner was not in that day,....he was the one I wanted to talk to)
I received a letter from them today.
Dean,
Enclosed is a refund for the "restock fee" you were charged on January 3rd. Again, I apologize. I assure you that your business is appreciated here. I guess our countermanjust took the restock thing a bit too far. We did have a talk with all counter staff about the intention of the policy.
Dave Riggs, our parts manager, asks that you contact him directly. He would have beat Ron Ayers price. If you get a price on something you need,please call. We would love the opportunity to meet or beat any price!

i'v been told many times that "an unhappy customer satisfied is more loyal than a customer that has always been happy", yet it seems that very few businesses take this mantra to heart. guess it's jsut a bit hard on the ego to follow its advise.
