Insurance Pirces?

ok so we have talked about this before I know. But I just moved from Savannah GA, up to near Louisville KY. and my insurance just DOUBLED! ! ! litterally doubled, they want $6000 a year to insure the bikes and the trucks. I am using USAA and they have always been the cheapest I could find. But now I am in the market to look at other insurance companies and see how is the cheapest. So if there is anyone on here that is in KY, espicially this area, please let me know how your insurance company is and how the rates compare. I just checked Progresssive, forget that, they want $5000 just to in sure my ZX12R, they have lost their minds. Any help that you all can provide will be greatly appreciated. thanks Jim

$6k is BULLSHIT............

Jim,
Have you checked with State Farm? Even with my checkered driving record I pay less than $500 a year for the 12R. That's with a $1000 ded. BTW.

Jim... shop around for an agent. Pricing insurance over the internet or other 3rd party.. wont get you the best rates.

yeah your right Steve I am going to have to do that. I have always used USAA and they have been great, until now. And get this, KY adds a tax of almost 400 bucks to every policy here in Ky. I am thinking of checking MI and going there, I have a mi drivers liscense, adn if I register the bikes and trucks in MI then I can use MI insurance as well and still be leagle, as long as it meets this states requirements.....the advantages of beig military....

AAA - $492 per year. Full coverage.
Try McGraw also. I believe they are motorcycle only/friendly.
