No doubt, those barriers along that stretch can be mighty intimidating at times. Especially when your closing rate on traffic is,....shall we say brisk.

you fuckers are sick I tell ya, just plain ole sick.....lol......the DG event was a blast for me, and I will be at all of the following events as long as I can get the time from work.....One of my favorite runs at the gap was Jon and I running trought the Gap after gettting a few pics at the look out. It was a spirited run, but not balls out. it was nice to watch someone that is smooth on a bike, espicially the 12 make the gap run. And Jon makes it look easy. My other run that I most remember was the skyway, i followed Sherm for a while then decided to see who I could catch, if anyone. I ran up on Rob and Norm and some other guys that werent with us. after I got around them Rob and I commenced on riding out and seeing if we could catch anone else. that was a nice run, until Rob took that right hander a bit hot and swept out into the other lane....good thing there were no cages...
Anf you all that remember Gene, i talked to him out at the last track day we had, he said he wants to make the next rally as well, said he had a blast riding with you crazy bastidges. He also said he has something for Mark and Rodger the next time he comes. He is bringing his Busa as well....and let me tell you, that thing doesnt lack any HP. the last time he checked it was running right at 210HP at the back tire, and 120 ft lbs of torqe. its a very nice bike custom paint and all. I told him that you all wont let him ride with him if he was on the Busa, he said fuck all of you, you can follow him then......lmfao I love starting shit....hehehhehe
Great videos Mamba, but when do they scrape toes and knees? thanks for the post Mamba, I enjoyed the videos..

yeah - when Jim and I, then Harry were running through the Gap it was a nice, easy pace. No white knuckles at all. I wanted to see how few times I could use my brakes. Jim, thanks for the compliments. It was a pleasure to ride with someone who didn't crowd my back tire or make me nervous at all.
Yeah, I remember busting up I-40 fer sure.
The worst trooper moment, though, was being behind Roger and Mark when the Country Sheriff was in the middle of the road with his hand up. I saw Mark hit the binder hard, then Rog - Man, I almost did a stoppie shutting that bike down from triple digits.
Best line from Sheriff, "Just how many of you ARE there?"
IF I make the next DG event I'll have to bring along my totally road illegal race R6. So once you bastids hit Cherahola or I-40 it'll be bye-bye. But in the Gap it'll be somebody's ass.
