New bathroom is finally DONE! Pics inside

Well, it took a while. Turned a large laundrey room into two rooms. I new laundrey room then a new bathroom. I had to do plumbing, electrical, framing, drywall, tile and build a new vanity and shelf unit from scratch. I did it all myself and am sure I saved a few grand by doing so. Here is the final product, the theme of the bathroom is an "old library" hence the dark green walls and dark stained waitscotting. I wanted to build my own vanity and shelf unit so I would know it would fit just right. I think it turned out great and am happy as a clam. The only things missing are a new big mirror for the wall over the vanity (that will help to cover up the awful drywall job there) and some accessories.

Thanks guys.

Anyone can do it BA you just need time, patience and of course the $10,000 of tools that I have accumulated over the past 3 years. LOL

Otis, I could do that also! All I would need is Money, Time and most important the energy to feel like doing it! Other than that, no problem! This Summer coming, I have a "Little" project for myself! I am going to clean out the lower and upper rooms on the rear of my house and completely replace the sides from the roof to the 1st floor. Understand that I live in a town house / row house! The addition is about 8 feet long and 12 feet wide. I must get between my house and the neighbors (About 3 feet or less wide) and remove the windows and walls. I can do most from the inside and clean up outside! Once I put in the 2x4's Plywood, insulation and sheet rock on the inside, and Vinal siding on both sides, then I remove the rear wall and plumb the Hot water radiator (400 pound monster) in the room. Then do the same with the 2x4's and plywood and sheet rock and new windows.

As you can see, I really have my summer planned out!

I have actually thought about having the entire addition removed and replaced, but do not want to spend the $20 to $40,000 I know it would cost! I figure I will have a New look for about $5,000 including the windows 7 of them at about $300 to $400 per window (Depending on what sale Home Depot or Lowes is having!! During the heavy part, I plan to take a few weeks off of work and have a friend help me!

Otis, I would really consider installing Glass sliding doors on the magazine shelfs after looking at the location of the toilet! (Remember, there will be some spatter, it is shorter than you think and the "Spray will fall a long ways"

That certainly sounds like a huge project Vinnie. But you can't beat the savings or the satisfaction of doing it yourself.
