BIKELAND NORTHWEST GET TOGETHER ???????????? I think it is time to have a Northwest get together. Laguna is a great time, but for me to much of the ride coming and going is just that. The best roads of the trip are in Southern OR and Northern CA. A get together in this area would provide more twisties than you can ride in a week. Camping or moteling doesn't matter to me, just as long as there are windy roads ahead.

I like the idea. I know that there's been conversations regarding alternatives to Laguna Seca. No Cal would be cool, but I don't trust *anywhere* in OR...

Since a few of us mightily enjoyed Sportbike Northwest last fall, why not simply commit to a larger presence next September at Sportbike N/W II?
It will be September 9-12th, I think, in Stevenson, WA. Let SoundRider magazine do all of the organizing, and have a show of ZX12Rs?

Good idea Dave, we need an early summer ride also. Say 10-14 days wearing out tires.
SBNW was fun in 2003 and I hope more members of this board and Easy's board make it in 2004.
I know Dino and I weren't able to get in enough riding in the 3 days we were there.
2004 may have to be a week long affair!

coming from San Diego, northern cal and southern oregon sound better than washington.
You know I'm in for the trip.
I'm also in for camping and maybe not having to break down camp every morning. Maybe every other morning. Wake up, breakfast, go riding.
Come back to campground and have our food waiting to be cooked rather than set up camp, find food and cook it.
I also say that since we are in the middle of beautiful country, I'm gonna go for a long hike one day too.

Sportbike west was a blast in 03 just under 500 registered guests and they gave away an 03 600 ninja as a door prize as well as a few grand worth of swag . Location has changed for 04 to oliver b.c just a quick rip south of last year. hope to see you all there.
