The official MotoGP™ Podcast: Season 2 hits all platforms in 20202020-03-27 03:16
More platforms, more formats and more content set to give fans an incredible audio – and audiovisual – experience in Season 2
The official MotoGP™ Podcast is back in 2020, with the second season of the show pushing more boundaries and giving fans even more content across more platforms. Now, the show will be available everywhere from Apple and Google Podcasts to Spotify, Soundcloud and more – making it easier than ever for our incredible audience to engage with MotoGP™. A new episode will be published every week beginning on the 27th of March, with a new one every Monday thereafter.
There are a number of changes to the show in 2020. This season, the podcast will alternate between two types of episodes: Last On The Brakes; in which hosts Matt Dunn and Fran Wyld bring fans an exclusive deep-dive interview with a rider or high-profile member of the paddock, and After The Flag; where Steve Day, Matthew Birt and Simon Crafar share their take on the latest MotoGP™ action and grab reactions from the podium finishers once the flag falls on Sunday.
In another exciting addition, Last On The Brakes will also feature most episodes recorded in video format – available on motogp.com and the Championship’s YouTube channel. The in-depth interviews on Last On The Brakes will also round up with an all-new segment in 2020 as MotoGP™ welcomes Kenwood as a partner of the official MotoGP™ podcast, with the Kenwood quick-fire part of the show seeing guests challenged to answer a few questions as quickly as they can – or indulge in a bit of word association…
Meanwhile, Spanish-language MotoGP™ podcast ¡Cambia el Mapa!, developed with DAZN, is also entering its second season with hosts Ernest Riveras and Izaskun Ruiz as they bring fans the latest and greatest news, interviews and updates from the world of MotoGP™ in Spanish. ¡Cambia el Mapa! is also available across most platforms.
Last On The Brakes kicks off the second season of the official MotoGP™ Podcast in English as we wait for track action to return. With the likes of Repsol Honda Team Manager Alberto Puig, MotoGP™ Legend Randy Mamola and paddock icon and Red Bull KTM Tech 3 manager Herve Poncharal all lined up and waiting in the wings, fans can expect some incredible reflections, stories and even advice and wisdom from decades in the paddock - both on and off track.
