Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Roll Into High Point Raceway With Three Straight Wins

Coming off the first of three breaks this season, Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Adam Cianciarulo, Garrett Marchbanks and Martin Davalos are well-rested and ready to take on the hills of Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania. At the moment, the forecast is looking like rain will miss the High Point Raceway track on Saturday, setting the team up for a great day of racing. Cianciarulo carries the most momentum into the weekend with three-straight overall wins and a six-point lead in the standings. Both Marchbanks and Davalos are eager to get back on the track to earn the results they know they deserve.

Cianciarulo has faced adversity each round, coming into every second moto with a second or third place finish. He’s been able to step up and get his Kawasaki KX250 to the top of the podium, collecting three Moto 2 wins so far. While the results in the first three rounds have served him well, Cianciarulo is hoping to claim a Moto 1 victory this weekend as well as another overall.

“The season has been amazing so far and I’ve felt really strong,” said Cianciarulo. “Thankfully I’ve made the most of Moto 2 to come away with the overalls, but it would be nice to add a Moto 1 win too. It’s been good to relax from the grind of travel and now we’ll be heading back east where I’m excited to keep things moving towards the end goal.”

It was last year at High Point Raceway that Marchbanks started showing strong improvements during his rookie season, but his day was cut short due to injury. He’s ready to face the track once again and see if he can start pushing towards the goal of consistent top-10 finishes and possibly a podium.

“Last year I felt like I was getting in a rhythm with how the pro races were run and the competition, but went down and wasn’t able to keep riding and even had to take some time off,” said Marchbanks. “It would be great to see High Point be my bounce-back round not only from last year but also from my race two weeks ago. I know I’m capable of much more and I’d like to prove it.”

Historically High Point hasn’t favored Davalos, but he’s not about to let that decide his fate this weekend. The Ecuadorian has been able to take advantage of the weekend off to rest up from his injuries from Round 1 and is hopeful this is a weekend for a top 10 finish.

“Before I went down at Hangtown, I felt confident that I could get inside the top 10 and now that I am feeling much stronger, I’m ready to accomplish that this weekend,” said Davalos. “The guys up front are running really good so it’s all about getting a good start so you don’t have to put out too much energy at the start of the day and you can be there at the end.”

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders will be signing autographs at the Monster Energy Kawasaki factory team semi truck on Saturday, June 15. To get an autograph, head to the Monster Energy Kawasaki truck when the pits open to collect a mandatory wristband for the signing. The signing will take place from 11:30 – 12:00.

Saturday’s race from High Point Raceway will be broadcast on MAVTV and NBC Sports starting June 15th at 1 p.m. ET. All racing can be found live using NBC Gold subscription.
