Rispoli Heads West To Continue 2019 AFT Singles Return2019-04-20 20:22
Ossining, NY ( April 19th, 2019 ) - James Rispoli continues his AFT Singles racing return as he heads west for the California swing of the American Flat Track championship
After a lackluster start to the season James Rispoli continues westbound with the backing of several individual supporters in pursuit of positive results. James showed great potential during the opening round of the Daytona TT but early on in the main event James suffered a large crash after colliding with another rider. Heading into Atlanta’s round two James hoped to redeem himself with a top five finish but instead struggled out the night with a 14th place in the main event after fighting with bike setup all day.
Throughout the nearly month long pause in AFT racing, James’ Kawasaki KX-450 has undergone extensive development in hopes of bridging the gap to the front where he belongs. With a more competitive package we hope for better results for the RideHVMC Freeman Racing team and its supporters.
James commented “I’m stoked to be headed to Texas for round 3 of the championship. We’ve had a lot of long days preparing the bike in hopes of a more competitive package. Though it came down to the final wire, we were able to get the bike finished just in time to hit the road! I’m optimistic that the changes we made will put the bike up front where I know we have the potential to be. I have to give a special thanks to all of my personal sponsors that put up the funds for us to make the west coast swing possible as well as the team sponsors supporting us. We will prevail”.

While James heads west, teammate Corey Alexander takes a hiatus from AFT singles as he turns his focus to his MotoAmerica. Alexander plans his return aboard a Kawasaki ZX-10R which will take place at the end of May during the Road America round of the Superstock 1000cc championship.
Corey added - “Though I’m sad to be missing some of the American Flat Track season I am excited to get back on the pavement and fighting for good results. The singles championship is so competitive in 2019, even though I feel I’ve progressed from last season I know there’s still a lot to learn for me. I’m hoping for good things from James with our latest package and look to see him up front!”
