With one last chance to fine tune their Honda NSF250RW machines, PETRONAS Sprinta Racing riders Adam Norrodin and Ayumu Sasaki prepare to take the next step in Jerez, ahead of the opening round at Losail in just two weeks’ time.

“This is the last IRTA test before the first race in Qatar, so I’m looking forward to getting back on track and seeing what we can do at Jerez. Our last test at Sepang was very positive; we made many laps and found a good set-up with the bike, so now my concentration will be more on myself. At Jerez I also want to focus more on the lap time and really pushing to be up at the top end of the timesheets. It’s important to use this last test to be on the pace and mentally prepared for the first race.”

“I’m very excited for this last test in Jerez before going to Qatar. I’m looking forward to it. We’ve had quite good testing this year, starting from Valencia and then in Sepang two weeks ago. In Jerez we must really concentrate on the settings and see if what we used in Malaysia, which worked very well, works at other tracks. This test will be very important; it’s our last chance to work through things and get up to speed before the first race. In myself I feel quite ready. This last week I have been in Austria doing physical tests with Red Bull and it’s been going well. Now we must just focus on fine tuning our bike set-up and making consistently good lap times.”
