Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki Ready For Any Conditions at Penultimate Round in Maryland

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki’s Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo are prepared for anything as the Pro Motocross series holds its penultimate round at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Southern Maryland. The duo recently experienced nature’s wrath in upstate New York and are ready for whatever is in store for the weekend in Mechanicsville, Maryland. Teammates Justin Hill and Austin Forkner will continue to recuperate and will sit out Round 11.

With 20 motos in the books, Savatgy has claimed four moto wins and an additional two moto podiums this season. He’s come on strong late in the season, leaving him hungry for another overall win. Savatgy is eyeing Budds Creek, but will have to make it safely around the difficult 180 degree first turn.

“Budds Creek is really fun, but has plenty of challenges to it,” said Savatgy, who scored third in last year’s Moto 1. “We did well last year and with the little bit of momentum we have going, I’m hopeful we’ll have a good day.”

Cianciarulo is no stranger to getting great starts at Budds Creek, scoring both holeshots during last year’s stop. With the start so critical, Cianciarulo will be looking to replicate his 2016 starting performance and lead laps like he has several times this year.

“It’s time to put it all together,” said Cianciarulo. “I have to concentrate on minimizing mistakes because I know the speed is there. I’ve just had my issues here and there that have cost me. I’m ready to step up. Starts are always a big deal at Budds and I would love to get two more holeshots on my KX250F.”

The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki fans are able to get autographs from the riders on Saturday morning after their practice sessions at the Monster Energy Kawasaki semi. To watch the motos, the NBC Sports Gold pass can be purchased for nonstop coverage. The first 250 Class will be LIVE on MavTV at 1 p.m. ET, while Moto 2 will be slightly delayed until 7:00 p.m. ET on NBC Sports.
