Kawasaki Good Times World reopens on the 14th of October 2016 with new inspiration from the Kawasaki Philosophy.
To offer the most rewarding motorcycle ride experience, Kawasaki has constantly sought to achieve the best performance in the world. In 1972 Kawasaki released the 900 Super Four (Z1), which, featuring world-best engine performance and exceptionally light handling that belied such a large engine displacement, stood head and shoulders above other models. Fast forward to 2015, Kawasaki came out with the Ninja H2R/H2 sportbike, sporting a supercharged engine developed in-house that offers performance never before experienced. These two models, which have carved a name for themselves in motorcycle history, are products of a philosophy and approach to technology that aims for top speed dating back over 70 years to the Kawasaki Ki-61 Hien ("flying swallow") Type 3 fighter plane.
The philosophy of Kawasaki today has evolved through our longtime commitment to the ideal ride as "RIDEOLOGY." This term embodies the pride and passion it takes to be fastest in the world, and through the joy of motorcycle riding we aim to enrich the lives of people around the world.

On display are Kawasaki's legendary 900 Super Four (Z1) and the legends-in-the-making Ninja H2 and stripped-stock model Ninja H2R. These bikes clearly represent Kawasaki's performance-oriented brand concept of RIDEOLOGY




Heritage Zone
Various famous Kawasaki bikes that were pioneers in their time are on display. A two-story space allows visitors to see a large number of models. For some models, both the street legal bike and race bikes are on display together.

Autumn 2016 Exhibition
Kawasaki's 2017 models just exhibited at INTERMOT in Germany will be on display as an opening exhibition in the space reserved for specially themed exhibits.

RidEX Riding Simulator
This riding simulator lets you take two simulated laps on a Ninja ZX-10R sportbike around a circuit whose scenery is shown on the spherical screen in front of you. Both children and adults can enjoy this ride.



Over 70 years ago, Kawasaki built a fighter plane to be the fastest in the world. Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) was reborn after WWII, carrying forward a commitment to production in its corporate DNA. Motorcycles, Jet Ski watercraft, and four-wheeled vehicles are among the many Kawasaki products that reflect this passionate corporate vision and approach to technology.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries was founded at the Tsukiji Shipyard in Tokyo by Shozo Kawasaki, whose vision was to build the company for the prosperity and advancement of Japan and the society. The company later moved to Kobe and in 1896 Kojiro Matsukata was appointed first president of the company, establishing Kawasaki Dockyard Co., Ltd. This year marks the 120th anniversary of the company.
To celebrate this occasion, a special "KHI 120th Anniversary Exhibition – Fastest in the World: the Pride and the Passion it Takes" will be held as a commemorative event.
As part of this exhibition, an actual Hien Type 3 fighter plane will be on display, recently restored at Kawasaki's Gifu Works (Kakamigahara, Gifu Prefecture). The exhibit will introduce the restoration project and the history and evolution of supercharger technology.
