Michael Dunlop Takes 'Legends Trophy' For Fifth Time!

Michael Dunlop saved his best to last when he streaked to his fifth successive
victory in the SGS International sponsored 'Race of Legends' Race at Armoy,
round 15 of the Duke Road Race Rankings 2015.

Starting on the second row of the grid, the MD Racing BMW man was third at
the end of lap one just behind Guy Martin and William Dunlop on Tyco
BMW's.

On lap two he was second and on lap four he flew past Martin across the
start/finish line to take the lead - from there he never looked back, racing to a
two and a half second victory over his rival Martin with Dean Harrison
relegating William Dunlop to fourth position on the penultimate lap, Derek
McGee fifth and Seamus Elliott sixth.

Guy Martin was a lights to flag winner of the Open Superbike race, getting the
better of his team mate William Dunlop by two seconds after seven blistering
laps.

Having won the first Supersport race William Dunlop was in record breaking
form in the second, setting a new lap record of 104.290mph on the second lap
of six on his way to a 2.7 seconds victory over rival Guy Martin, with Dean
Harrison third, three-hundreths of a second behind Martin.

Sam Wilson, riding Joey's Bar Honda was a very popular 250GP race winner
leading from start to finish - beating Michael Dunlop's Cookstown BE Honda
by 2.3 seconds.

Seven times Duke Rankings winner, Ryan Farquhar turned the clock back by
winning the SuperTwin five-lap race with a new lap record.

There is no change at the top of the Rankings, with Ivan Lintin still on 1305
ponts - 152 points ahead of William Dunlop (1153) who moves up two places
into second.

James Cowton drops one place to third, as does Dean Harrison from third to
fourth.

Guy Martin also moves from sixth to fifth, whilst Michael Dunlop, winner in
2013 climbs four places from 12th to eighth.

Three advance 19 positions, Sam Wilson moves from 41st to 22nd; Adam
McLean from 44th to 25th and Andy Lawson from 60th to 41st.
