On April 1 (April Fool’s Day) 64 year-old George Crezee, a Big Bear Lake resident, will celebrate his 65th birthday two weeks early when he attempts to finish 40 sporting events/adventures covering hundreds of miles from Big Bear Lake to Newport Beach in a 24-hour span. Crezee who turns 65 on April 14, will attempt to shatter his previous record of 26 sporting events in 20 hours on his 60th birthday. This big adventure takes Crezee from the mountains to the desert and to the lakes and beaches of Southern California. His mission is to encourage people to get off the couch and get active.

"I want to motive people to get off the couch and go,’ said George Crezee. “I use this one day to show that if a 65 year old guy can do this, certainly anyone can get off the couch and do something, even if it's just walking the dog.”

Crezee will begin with an array of winter sports at Snow Summit Ski Resort in Big Bear Lake. Water sports will follow in the cold waters of Big Bear Lake. He will participate in various motor sports in the High Desert, San Bernardino and Riverside and will head to Newport Beach and Costa Mesa for many more sports. Then it's back to San Bernardino Valley College for track & field and then he finishes at 24-Hour Fitness in Ontario. Please see schedule below…

George hopes to motivate people to get outside and enjoy what's in their own backyard. If at 65 George can do all these activities, others can surely do just one of them and get on the road to a healthier lifestyle.
