Advanstar Communications, the producer of the world’s largest and longest-running powersports show tour, has expanded its Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® nationwide tour to include two new markets popular with those who love motorcycling – Atlanta and Indianapolis.

The newly expanded Progressive International Motorcycle Shows series is set to launch its 2012-2013 nationwide tour November 2-4, at the Cobb Galleria Centre, in Atlanta, and then continues across the country for a total of 13 stops. The new show in Indianapolis, taking place February 15-17, 2013, at the Lucas Oil Stadium will be co-located with Dealer Expo, the world’s largest powersports trade show, held at the Indiana Convention Center, and combined will create the ultimate two-wheeled destination over President’s Day weekend.

“Motorcycle manufacturers, aftermarket retailers and riders have been enthusiastic about the expanded reach and increased exposure the two new key motorcycle markets, Atlanta and Indianapolis, will provide to their brands and their experience,” said Advanstar Executive Vice President Danny Phillips. “Top manufacturers including BMW, Harley-Davidson, Suzuki, Triumph and more have already confirmed their participation for the full 32nd annual Progressive International Motorcycle Shows tour, and we expect to announce the participation of other major OEMs shortly. In particular, BMW motorcycle fans across the country will be pleased to know that BMW has committed to all 13 markets for this season, the first time since the 2007-2008 show tour.”
