Ride Hard and WIN: Be Yamaha's Top TransCan Racer and WIN a Factory Ride, bike and all, for 2013

2012-08-07 19:27
Are you a Yamaha rider registered for the Parts Canada Trans Can?
Would you love to earn a Factory Ride—complete with a new bike—for
2013? Well, good news! Yamaha Motor Canada will be offering some very
impressive support to the top Yamaha rider at the TransCan this
August.

The “Factory Ride” sponsorship will go to the Yamaha rider who
scores the most points in their respective classes during the week of
the TransCan. The winner will be announced on Saturday evening at the
awards presentation.

Need some extra motivation to win races and rack up points? The
“Factory Rider’ will receive the use of a 2013 YZ of the rider’s
choice and a $2,500 parts credit that can be used on accessories,
gear, oils and lubricant.

“Not only will the winner get the YZ of their choice, but with great
accessory and gear partners like AXO, One Industries, FMF, Matrix and
our own Yamalube and GYTR brands, they’ll get the holeshot on the
2013 race season,” said Bryan Hudgin, Yamaha’s Marketing
Supervisor and Race Director. He continued on,

“Amateur racing is the lifeblood of Canadian motocross. Obviously we
cannot support every Yamaha rider in Canada but we’ve developed a
couple of programs to help our amateur riders with racing. Most
notably with ‘Yamabucks for You’ and now the ‘Factory Ride’
sponsorship.”

The existing “Yamabucks For You” campaign hands out Yamabuck gift
certificates to the top three Yamaha’s in each class at the
TransCan.

Yamaha Motor Canada will also have an on-site retail and corporate
display location during the TransCan, selling apparel, small
accessories and showcasing all the latest offerings from Yamaha. Be
sure to stop by.

So get out there August 15 to 19th and put your YZ up front. Check the
overall results and you could be Yamaha’s Factory Rider for 2013!
