Team Öhlins USA Adding Rider to its Challenge of AMA Pro Motocross Championship

Hendersonville, North Carolina: With huge anticipation and piles of pride times two, Öhlins USA announces the launch of its first racing team, set to campaign the 2011 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship series. The mission of Team Öhlins USA is to showcase Öhlins’ advanced suspension technology in motocross racing in North America, and to provide promising, up-and-coming riders the chance to develop their skills in the atmosphere of a factory team with professional technicians. Team Öhlins USA is looking to add one more rider to its three-rider rostrum.

Set to enter competition at the June 11th round of the Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, Pennsylvania, Team Öhlins USA’s riders to date are Michael Clarke (with an “e”) and Garret (one “t”) Toth. The team will be competing on the latest version of the Yamaha YZ450F, winner of numerous magazine shootouts for best Dirtbike of the year.
