Ryan Dungey Posts Rockstar Energy Fast Lap at Freestone

After a dominating performance last Saturday in which he cruised to his first career 450 Class victory with a pair of moto victories, it comes as little surprise to learn that Rockstar/Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey laid down the Rockstar Energy Fastest Lap of the final moto at the Flagstar Bank Freestone National.

En route to sweeping the day's motos at the second round of the 2010 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship, Dungey won by double digit margins on both occasions and posted a fastest lap of 2:09.704 in moto two to capture the single bonus point up for grabs in the Rockstar Energy Fastest Lap competition. The quick time came on lap seven, the very same lap in which Dungey claimed the lead and established an insurmountable advantage over his competitors.

As a result, the defending 250 Class champion and premier class rookie not only moved into second in the championship standings, but also earned a spot in the running to claim a custom Rockwell watch at season's end.
