INTERMOT Cologne 2010: All the big players are on board2010-04-07 09:15All of the market's leading manufacturers of motorised two-wheelers will be represented in Cologne — without exception. The international specialised trade, importers and motorcycle fans from around the world will have to make red mark in their calendars for the period from 6th to 10th October 2010. For the first time in nearly two years all of the market's important brand names will once again be represented at INTERMOT Cologne 2010 and will present their innovations and world premieres at the exhibition centre on the banks of the Rhine — the last time this was the case was at INTERMOT Cologne 2008. Led by BMW, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, over 1,000 suppliers from around 40 countries will present the latest motorcycles, scooters and bicycles, as well as the most important innovations from the areas of accessories, clothing, parts, customizing, tourism and workshop fittings, on an exhibition area of nearly 120,000 m2. In addition to the big players mentioned above, all the major European, American and Asian manufacturers will naturally also be represented in Cologne. Among the manufacturers are the major Italian brands Ducati and the Piaggio Group with the brands PIAGGIO, Vespa, GILERA, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and DERBI. And of course, it wouldn't be a true two-wheeler trade fair without the cult motorcycles from Harley-Davidson, Triumph or KTM — the entire who’s who of the international motorcycle scene will be represented in Cologne, confirming the significance of INTERMOT Cologne as the world's leading trade fair for motorcycles and scooters. INTERMOT Cologne 2010 will occupy a gross exhibition area of nearly 120,000 m². The successful concept of distributing the market leaders throughout all the halls will again be implemented. This ensures a continuous flow of visitors through all the different sections of the fair.
