No improvement in 125 cc grid positions Saturday on rainy Brno circuit

Rain on Saturday spoilt the chances of KTM's 125 cc riders of improving their place on the grid for Sunday's Grand Prix at Brno, Czech Republic following dry track training and faster times in the Friday session.

Italian Raffaele de Rosa from Team Onde 2000 KTM was fastest rider in the rain, but will still have to start the race from eleventh position on the grid, ahead of Spanish Repsol KTM rookie Marc Marquez in twelfth place.

A the same time the 15-year-old German Red Bull KTM rider Jonas Folger, who competes in the Spanish MotoGP Academy, made an impressive GP debut with twenty third place in practice. Meanwhile Red Bull KTM rider Randy Krummenacher had to settle for twenty sixth but is confident he can turn things around for Sunday's race. Local weather reports indicate that the track should be dry for Sunday's race.

Randy Krummenacher (Red Bull KTM 125 - twenty sixth)
"The first part of this season didn't go according to plan and I had a lot of negative things to accept. I was still struggling to get my head straight on the first day here in Brno and I had a hard time to find my rhythm. But today, things were much better. We found something on the chassis set-up that helps me a lot, in dry conditions as well as in the wet, and I am back to having a good feeling with the bike and with myself. I feel that I am ready to ride a good race. I hope for a good start, and then I will pull all stops and attack with full force!"
