Walbro255 In Tank Help
Guys just wondering if you can point me in the right direction as maybe this has happened to some one else.
My fuel presser has been all over the board so today started digging see pics below.
Can someone tell me where to buy this rubber Gromet or gasket # 74 for this pump ? Almost cost me a motor, fluke that I caught it. Cheers

looks like its a total package deal with the whole fuel pump from what i found ..
i may have a used 1 ..

I have brand new pump that came out of the bike(2010). Does not look any thing like this one.

It happened to me three times. They don't like fuel pressure over 70psi.

Yikes, Do you still run the same set up ? Did you ever find a reliable fix ? External pump only solution ?

This happened to me twice on my bike . It caused me to have to jack up my fuel pressure and run a shit load more fuel to compensate for the escaping fuel . I bought mine from the dealer for $12 . The cause of the problem was due to me pushing the new fuel pump to far in the hole and not running a big enough plastic piece between the nipple of the pump and the rubber piece .

After reading posts above I'm sure this will happen again,,,,,so,,,,,, Made a attempt at a fix. Only to find out at the end just prior to install the frost plug under the regulator housing has popped.
Grrrrrr.
How can this be happening when I'm no where near Max pressure of the pump,,,,,, This F..k..g pump is getting the best of me.
Rob warned me this could happen, not catching a break.

this is why the serious race guys run bigger injectors and lines, and reduced fuel pressure... 1:1 boost referenced fuel regulators...
the only pumps cabable of maintaing a linear fuel flow per psi over 70 psi is the billet square block type that kinsler or wedco make.
They are $600 pumps, but flow does not drop as pressure increases

have they arrived yet .. if you own a turbo its best to have spares of everything .. i have no zx14 and have no plans to ever own 1 again as a turbo platform .. i'm gonna have a 500hp busa and slowly spend money to get there in a couple years
