Pic of my old booza!!

Well the new owner of my booza took the nitrous off it as soon as he got the bike and started fabing up a turbo kit for it I'm not sure on the size of the turbo or anything for that matter. All I know is it's on all 100% stock fuel system on pump gas and made 273hp he says on 7psi. The bike looks pretty good IMO

7psi on a 100% stock fuel system seems dangerous, but I am very new to the Turbo game. That also seems slightly high on the power doesnt it? but it does look cool that is definatly a nice looking kit.

I also own a busa besides my turbo 14........7psi on the stock fuel system and 273hp doesn't quite add up going by the turbu guru's on the busa site I frequent. But then you can't run over 4psi on the stock TI valves on a gen2 busa either.......so to get his numbers he's had to at least put in ss valves with heavier springs which wasn't mentioned. I imagine Art did that for the nos tho anyways lol.

He took it out to the track and got shaken up when the bottle slid out of the bottle bracket going through the traps, causing him to almost go down. After that he was just putting down the track going 10.0@147-149 (no licence). He asked me to make a hit on it and first pass I go 1.43 60' 9.1@152 spinning pretty bad just after the 60' all the way down the track. I wait for the track to cool off a bit and make two more hits the bike went 9.3@153 still blowing the tire off all the way down the track. I than dropped the tire down to 7psi and launched like a MEGA BITCH lol 1.55 60' rolling into it and short shifting (I was foot shifting due to the bottle ripping out all the air shifter stuff when it flew off the bike) went 9.0@157. Next outing I'll make a few other hits on it again I think if the track is there it's gonna go high 160s and be a 8.40 bike or so.

Ya like I said I have no idea on the boost numbers or anything no boost gauge on the bike. I haven't lifted the tank or anything but he told me it's 7psi and stock fuel. I also thought the power was a bit high but than got to thinking about it it's less than a 100hp gain with boost over all motor. It's about a 12hp gain per pound. I know my old turbo 14 was right at 12hp per pound also.

70" nitrous zx14 lol. I'm hunting for a 1.2x 60' with a stock clutch lol and it's harder than I thought it was gonna be lol. Best I've done is a 1.32 60' but I'm fighting for it now lol

You'll get that 1.2x 60'. Dave finally got one on our 14 with a stock clutch with Brocks springs. It was a 1.29 but the 1.3 barrier finally got broken. He's really stoked about it and you will be too. It's one of those milestones that not everyone reaches. He did it at 71 inches but he's pulled the axle back in to between 69-70" now to see if he can duplicate the times. I hope he chimes in but I think his best yesterday was a 1.32 or 1.33.

I did the 1.32s at 68" and going to 70" has been bogging the bike a bit, I might need a tad more gear or to just get more aggressive on the nitrous tune up but traction is gonna start to make it's play the longer I go and if I keep adding power. It's a fine line of finess and brute power lol But I'm also at 9000'+ DA on any given race night

I'm no expert at racing at altitude but a 1.32 at that altitude sounds plenty impressive to me right there. You'll on the bottle right from the line I take it.
