Home grown exhaust!!
Well I had a day off from work so I went to see a friend that works at the local custom exhaust shop. Just to bounce some ideas off him about exhaust for my new 14r. After talking for a few minutes, my bike is on the rack and here are the results. Im happy with it for what it cost. Its just a temporary set up till I can afford a full system and until more systems become avalable. If anyone is interested in a system like this Im sure it could be duplicated for less than 250$. Its all stainless, I painted mine because it was all used partsand they were discolored and I didnt want to polish it up for a temporary system.
Let me know what youll think. Its nice and mellow at idle, pretty loud at WOT. I lost 19 lbs in exhaust wieght and my new 14R doesnt sound like a scooter any more!!!

Since I know I'm the "negative" person around here... But whatever floats your boat. I think it's better not having a exhaust at all.

____________
You only need two tools: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and should, use the WD-40.
If it shouldn't move and does, use the duct tape.

Thanks for the replies. I never said it was a badass looking exhaust system, my goal was to temporarily get some sound difference and get rid of those huge factory cans.

The time spent making that, you could have went and cut grass, did a side job, something to make some extra money to buy a exhaust.
I hate to see that beautiful bike with that on it. If money is that tight, buy a used exhaust for a gen1 14
