You guys are really chasing every hundredth aren't you? I'm heading out on a 1800 mile road trip the end of this month, I think I'll keep my o rings in the chain.

Sometimes chasing every hundredth means the difference in a 9.02 and an 8.99

Hundredths add up to tenths.

All joking aside, since my chain is over 4 years old, I'm thinking about trying it. I lube and clean it everytime before I ride it, but my bike is a beast to roll around in the pits vs other 14's I've pushed

Been there, done that. Stuck with a string of 11.01s with my car just wishing I had eaten one less cheeseburger that week... To this day I cannot say I owned a 10 second car, even if it did go 128 it's the ET that matters. Now I'll probably get stuck at 10.0 with the bike. lol

We did the math last night ..............

There's one on each side, so x2 = 319 with one done ............

One theory that's been presented can be put to rest. We gained almost no MPH whatsoever from the O-rings being removed. I guess maybe we should have removed the air filter and pumped up the front tire right to the edge of exploding also.
