Race Railz???
I have a set of Race Railz and the more I look at them I'm not sure if I want to install them. Having them on will require me to remove engine mount bolt any time I remove the fairings. So anyone who has them or has had them chime in and let me know your thoughts and experiences with them.

How often do you remove your fairings?
What do they protect that regular frame sliders won't?

they are supposed to protect things better and not snap off like normal frame sliders do in a lay down situation.. if your not tearing your bike apart every weekend i would go for it. if you work on it alot than i would pass.. Just depends on the frequency of tearing it down to me..

The rear mount is that piece of all thread in the pic you have to remove the stock rear upper crankcase mounting bolt and replace with the all thread. That is the main thing I wasn't too sure about. I looked at the service manual and that bolt has some spacers on it and a member on another forum said you have to make sure that you don't back off the torque on the spacers when you remove the bolts... How do I remove the bolt but not change the torque on the spacers??
