rear view camera setup
i tried a rear view camera out on my bike. it turned out to be effective for me. i tried a camera that you mount on your license plate. i got a new one that mounts flush and is round. here it is on the bike.
i also tried bar end mirrors in the mean time while i was mounting the camera.
these mirrors worked out pretty good. they are 3 in convex. they are clear and they are stable. they do not vibrate at all. ive taken them to around 100 mph. i will get rid of them as soon as i mount my screen for the camera. i need to make a mount first and waterproof it in case im caught in some rain while riding.

That's a cool camera - what kind is it? And those mirrors look like they could double as air brakes - happy to hear they are temporary

Keep us informed and more pics when the camera works,i also want to see more pics of the bike now that u have more done to it.

Its an ebay special. Here are some specs.
NTSC: 510*496 pixels
135 degree viewing angle, color, nightvision, waterproof,
420 resolution
I did a mock up mount on the stem nut.... Looks good to me. Now when i get back home i need to start making the mount. Also need to get some switches for the screen and camera.

as far as brand name, i honestly do not know. the only name on the box is car rear view camera. im viewing it on a 3.5 inch screen. ill post a pic once i finish making the mount for it.

i guess i forgot to ask, but is this a video recorder?? or just a camera for viewing??
