I'm so happy i can say i like all three for the new colors ..  06 i liked the red and black but didn't like the blue because it was to dark .... 07 i liked the black and the light blue but hated the SE ....08 i like the black and silver but hated the SE again ....Now we get that cool Green and Orange and Black ... I'm happy !!!!

I am here in dallas and all 3 of the 14's are sweet-- very nice job--
the kaw execs talked about the higher price of production and all models pricing went up this year-- even the might little 250 is now 4099- lots of nice bikes but the 14s are the shit this year!

I have to say... I think Kawi got a lot right this year!!! Not only the performance.. but they also must have gotten a new color guy (girl)..

The higher prices for '09 will also help dealerships clear out leftovers..Pure theory, but it sounds good.

Value of the greenback sucks, as does the economy.
Still, the price difference on the leftovers will be that much more encentive to purchase an '08---unless its sitting next to a Green '09

Thats whay I bought my 06 only had 486 miles on it. would have been stupid to pay 4500 -5000 more for an 08-09

I was planning on painting my 06 in the candy green but I guess I now have a decision to make. Anybody have an opinion on what will work off of the 06. If my swingarm would transfer I have to say I may have to pick up the 09 and let the 06 go. I guess I am getting older because the Connie really looks good in black as well as the red. I am wandering if that is the zx-11 red (burgundy) that was always a sharp color.

unless your 06 is tired and worn out why not just paint yours lime green? would be alot of money ahead.

Wow, i love the Orange and black, love the green too. I personally think the Monster one is kinda cheezy, but thats just me.. I was hoping for some engine changes, more HP, maybe even different bodywork to give me more of a reason to buy newer, hoping for next year.

I was just wondering...the Canadian Kawasaki website lists the 08 ZX6R DRY weight as 167kgs ~ 367 lbs.
The new 09 ZX6R has a CURB weight of 421 lbs ~ 191 kgs...22 lbs less than the 2008.
so the old bike was 443 lbs (421+22) ~ 201 kgs...
The difference between dry and curb weight for the 2008 is then 34 kgs ~ 75 lbs ???
also can't seem to understand how the "New double bore velocity stacks feature inlets at two different heights..." works, this in essence is not a variable length stack like the Yamis and new Aprilia...how does the inlets at different heights work ? can't visualize...
