Suzuki Strikes Back with All New Hayabusa for 2008! *HI RES PIX*

Kawasaki better look over their shoulders, because Suzuki's back with an all new 'Busa for 2008. Nope, it wasn't Photoshop, and yes - the Internet leaked it again!

Retaining much of its signature look and shape, Suzuki hopes their new '08 model will to put an end to Kawasaki's powerful ZX-14s positioning in this Hyper Bike category. Will it be enough? 2008 is shaping up to be a big year for the motorcycle industry, so stay tuned!

Available in blue, black and orange, the new Hayabusa's specs and features can be downloaded from our servers here:

I like that last pic, for a busa, the colors work well. Blue isn't bad either, but I like the bolder color.

I like it... looks like they're struck a nice compromise and kept to some of the old style... will be cool to see how the engine does! :THUMBUP

Thanks for the MUCH nicer pics................... I wasn't feelin' much for that phone camera pic. A point and a half higher compression than the previous model, bump in cc's and dual injectors should make it a match for the 14 in the power dept. Slipper clutch is a real nice touch. Wish I could see the 4 analog guage package..........................

I would say, it will probably shut down a lot of the zx14 hype, but thats okay, cause it will be cool when us guys with a fast still stock internal motored 1199 cc zx12 out runs the 1340cc zuk...........

its still ugly...........

One thing hard to debate- Suzuki has built fans and brand loyalty (cult-ish following)with the Hayabusa of yesteryear.

I strongly suspect for that reason alone it'll outsell the 14 by a wide margin no matter what it does on a drag strip or race track.

That changed the whole story. OK I'll admit- I wasn't even suspecting such so I didn't look at the spec sheet in any great length

It certainly looks like the rider will complete the package when tucked in. If it is ANY more aerodynamic than the original, this new Busa will be tearin' it up at Maxton, Texas and Bonneville.............

bet the seat cover pops off without requiring the removal of 4 screws every time one wants to ride a lady on the back, that and the SLIPPER clutch for the corners really has me eager to see the bike in the showroom!
