you will need to replace ALL fluids b4 cranking
do NOT crank with OLD OIL! or Antifreeze !!!!
you will need to replace all brake fluids
no doubt you will need NEW tyres battery & spark plugs
i would remove the spark plugs & mist the cylinders with oil
after cranking DO NOT IDLE
KEEP ENGINE RUNNING AT AT LEAST 1/3 REDLINE SPEED
until fully warm probably at least 10-15 mins minimum
then check for leaks
shut down.....remember NO IDLING!!! no idling at all !!!!
do a compression check....write it all down
something you can do to help the total situation
after draining the sump of 14 year old oil
boil 2 quarts in a pan (an old metal pan) sitting inside another pan full of
full on boiling water
pour thru a funnel into the sump with the drain plug in...........
let sit 30 mins then drain......Takes ALL of the OIL GUNKY CRUSTY CRAPPY OIL residue
out of the sump
o yeah i would do all the above on the center stand !!
good luck
