Gauging interest in my brand new, never ran, 1534cc race engine.
Basic Specs:
5mm Marine Crank
Carrillo H Beam Rods
R&D Pro Cut transmission
CP pistons (over 15:1 compression)
Competition CNC Stage 3 Head:
- 1mm Oversize Stainless Valves
- Bronze Seats and Guides
- Hayabusa buckets
- APE Springs & Ti Retainers
- Web BIG Cams
Billet Oil Pump Plate
New oil pump assembly
High Volume oil pump gear (optional)
Adams 2" billet oil pan (optional)
ZX12 Automatic Cam Chain Tensioner
Cases Modified by Adams for improved oiling
This engine was built by Steve Knecum, a very well-respected builder.

Based on the output of similar builds, this motor should put out around 250 hp SAE or so with proper intake and exhaust. As far as cost, the parts and machining were well in excess of $9k. Bump for Christmas. Maybe it will work in an E85-based street bike?? Just don't stray too far from the gas station.
