American Honda Announces More 2011 Models

American Honda Motor Company's Powersports Division announced to its dealers today an additional release of street bikes and off-road models for the 2011 model year. These Hondas include the Fury®, Interstate™, Shadow® RS and Shadow Phantom with the Sabre and Stateline customs released at a later date. A pair of popular off-road motorcycles return, the CRF80F and CRF100F, along with the Big Red™ Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MUV).

"The 2011 model year lineup continues to expand for Honda," said Powersports Press Manager Bill Savino. "Here we have a variety of very popular cruisers and customs, a pair of Honda off-road machines that have remained extremely popular with riders over the years, plus a revamped and very impressive Big Red MUV. Our selection of models for 2011 keeps growing and there will be more to follow."

More detailed information and images of Honda's model line can be found on powersports.honda.com or see your local Honda powersports dealer.

The Radical Fury—Can This Really Be A Honda?

We understand perfectly if you think your eyeballs are lying to you. Indeed, the Fury appears to be something from the farthest fringes of the two-wheeled world. Yet it's all Honda, through and through. Here we have the rolling incarnation of the pure, undiluted chopper essence, a machine that simply looks right, sounds right and goes straight to the heart of the radical in all of us. Yet despite the extreme lines and head-turning looks, the Fury is backed up with the same fit and finish, functionality, affordability, quality and reliability built into every Honda. Who would have ever thought it possible? Available in Dark Red Metallic, Pearl White and Matte Orange Metallic beginning in December 2010. Optional ABS and CBS - color and availability date TBD.

Honda Interstate: High Style For A Cross-Country Ride

Sure it's fun to have a stylin' ride, but it can be even better yet when high style merges with the ability to rack up big miles—and that's what the Interstate is all about. Now available as an optional ABS model with Honda's Combined Braking System, the 2011 Interstate expands its prowess as a prime choice for the open road. Check out those stylish hard leather bags that offer ample storage space and that big, traditional windscreen; we're talking all-day riding comfort and convenience that will carry you through that long, long getaway. Because when you're aboard one of the coolest rides around, sometimes you just don't want your ride to end. Available in Dark Red Metallic and Black beginning in December 2010. Optional ABS and CBS - color and availability date TBD.

Shadow RS: Classic Looks Never Go Out Of Style

The Honda Shadow RS serves as rolling proof that classic ideas never go out of style. By combining agile and responsive handling, V-twin power, clean, crisp lines and standard-style riding ergonomics, this is one ready and willing bike that's perfectly poised for whatever the journey may bring. The Shadow RS's higher footpegs enhance ground clearance, and its thoroughly modern liquid-cooled 745cc V-twin engine boasts Honda's sophisticated Programmed Fuel Injection to enhance your riding pleasure. Climb aboard the Honda Shadow RS and the open road is all yours. Available in a new dramatic Blue/White/Red paint scheme beginning in December 2010.

Shadow Phantom: The Low-Profile Approach To Cool

The Shadow Phantom celebrates the joy of back-to-basics motorcycling by delivering a V-twin ride packing a uniquely clean and uncluttered appearance. Check out the minimalist look and extensive blackout treatment that bring your eyeballs back to that very cool 745cc V-twin engine featuring the convenience and sophistication of Programmed Fuel Injection. By staking out the low-profile approach to cool, the Shadow Phantom reinforces the idea that bling ain't everything in a bike. Available in Black beginning in December 2010.

CRF80F: A Tough Little Honda With Balanced Performance

The CRF80F serves as the perfect match for beginners who are ready to step up to a manual-clutch machine. This versatile and tough little mount features Honda's legendary reliability, big-bike styling, nimble handling and balanced performance. Available in Red beginning in December 2010.

CRF100F: One Of The Most Popular And Versatile Bikes Ever

One can easily make the case that the CRF100F is one of the most versatile selections offered within the entire gamut of motorcycles: Consider the fact that it has done everything from introducing beginners to the sport, to honing the riding skills of world champions. Beloved by a far-reaching range of riders, it's no wonder that this ultra-tough yet versatile little Honda remains one of the most popular off-road bikes of all time. Available in Red beginning in November 2010.

Big Red: Now Featuring A New Contoured Bench Seat, Increased Load Carrying And Towing Capacities, And More

Upon its introduction the Big Red™ Multipurpose Utility Vehicle (MUV) already stood head and shoulders above all other contenders, thanks to its superior handling, secure feel, comfortable ride and its multiple patents and numerous automotive-based technology features. Now Big Red sports changes that allow this great MUV to work even harder while delivering more comfort thanks to its increased load carrying and towing capacity, revised suspension, contoured bench seat that allows easier entry/exit, Maxxis Big Horn tires and a Roll Over Protection Structure (ROPS) that meets OSHA requirements. Available in Red, Olive and Natural Gear® Camouflage beginning in November 2010.

Harley would like to sue for everything, years and year ago in the 80s, Harley tried to sue Honda because they claimed that the V-twin exhaust sound is a Harley trademark sound. The guys are Harley are buncha retards. Ultimately, they failed and the lawsuit never won but seriously who sues for a exhaust sound?

Isn't the whole chopper thing over?? The Fury is cool for what it is, but I think it's about a decade late.

Either Honda is surprisingly behind the times...or so far ahead they know choppers are coming back in style!

If that's the case the Indian can claim Harley ripped off their design since its older company that made cruiser bikes.

is that my front tire on the rear of the fury? Cool looking bikes but those Japs keep missing the mark with retarted rims and non porportional size tires. Gas tanks could fill the frames up as well. Id get punched around here riding a bike like that with a Honda name...

The back tire on the Fury is wider than the tank.........saw one at our local Honda dealers...........yeah, good luck getting 120 miles out of that less than 3 gallon chop of a fuel tank...........they were closer to "cool" with the Shadow Phantom, but add the Fury wheels/tires, give it another 20 degrees of rake, and shove the VTX twin in it
