You couldn't have used a rod bolt stretch guage like your supposed to have then

Can`t even get an accurate torque reading on the rod bolts with the crank still in it.

no shit .. but my turbo bike is running and been running 4 a long time ...how yours

I actually have a life, a family, relocated my family in the last 8 months, a new house, new business, 2 frame up turbo bikes going on at once, and still ride the other bikes, sled, atv i own, while tuning the odd bike for friends...

Like most, you have no comprehension what it takes to endevour a build like mine.

1bad must have got out of detention early so he's able to post again...

Dubious - knowledgeable and contributes

1bad - probably had a Napolean complex if you know what I mean...no job so he can help his daddy build his 8,000 hp, turbo zx-12 that can rocket to the moon with a PC5, but he won't show it to you because its a secret that his imaginary friend told him not to share.

Dubious - just ignore him...he has nothing better to do.

Thanks,
truth is I work away from home 1-2 weeks at a time.
Pretty hard to work on the bike, when half of my life I am away....

"Ease on the gas and flagship Suzuki takes on a new personality. Smooth, seamless shifting, perfect handling, linear power – the Busa transforms itself into an absolutely wonderful sport touring machine. As a tourer, a commuter, or as an everyday rider, the Suzuki swallows up miles with comfort with not as much as a complaint. The same goes for two up riding. In fact its ease of use is almost disarming. "

After reading your review all i can think of is HONDA.... I brought a 00 12R because it's the underdog and it feels more like a animal,,, nothing really nice about to be honest,,, it's heavy,, it hunts,,, has a 'peaky' power delivery,, and it's ugly... handling is mediocre... but it all equals fun....

Nothing like a bit rawness and character.... life would be boring if all we had were Honda's...

But anyway, good review!

Enjoyed the read thoroughly, did not really detect a bias in its writing worthy of egoic defensiveness at all. I own both the 08 ZX-14 and the 08 Hayabusa and I love them both for varying reasons. I would be very hardpressed to decide on what one to remove from my garage so I believe I'll keep them both by golly!!! Thanks for the article, doubled my pleasure!!! Yeehaa!!! from Texas!!!!

To me the 14 is more comfortable. But the real difference is in how smooth the 14 engine is and it sure shifts better than the Busa. Not that it's a big deal it's just nothing was mentioned about that at all?
Both bikes are good.
