You replacing the steels at the same time? Warpped steels can tear through fibers pretty fast. Not saying you need to swap them every time... But certainly check them. Also, take a micrometer to your fibers... U might find only 1 or 2 have gone under spec. Get some 2.9mm steels to swap in and u can get even more life out of the thinned out fibers.

Sure. The quicker you can get the clutch closed the less wear it will have to take.

Do you have the clutch mod and heavy duty springs? If not, that should help increase the life of your clutch!

boop1972,

1. Are you using OEM clutches ?
2. What kind of oil are you running?
3. What is your launch RPM?

boop1972,

I would suggest raising your static pressure, as you eluded to above, using our deluxe shim kit and pressure guide (includes with deluxe mod kit) - 75 lbs. total at each spring (or more). At your weight, you really can't get enough (no offense).

Mobile One CAR or BIKE oil?

A friend of mine let me borrow 3 of his APE Hayabusa HD springs and flange washers. I staggered them on my gen2 zx14 and there is plenty of spring pressure..I can really tell it from pulling in the lever. A set of 6 of these from ape is only 50.00

boop ...................flange washers are like the stock ones but are deeper... i just need that locking ring that comes with brocks setup for the slipper mechanism...

If you have the extra coin I'd go with the Woolich tuner and do it yourself. That way if you want to change something in the future you can change it when you want and if you don't like the change you can change it back. Just a thought.
