Which ECU for 2012 ZX14R

I have a 2012 ZX14 and recently bought a Yoshimura R-77 for it. My understanding was that in order to maximiize performance I needed a Power Commander along with an ECU upgrade. I spoke with someone at Guhl Motorsports today who told me that their ECU upgrades can include fuel mapping for this pipe thus negating the need for the PC. Anyone have any experience with this who can educate me? Is Guhl the way to go? Also, do I need block off plates or can I fix the backfire issue by connecting or plugging the hoses? Thanks!!

I have a Brocks Drag Flash 2 and a PCV on my bike. The beauty of having a power commander too is that it's possible to switch maps. So if you visit the track, change fuel or just want to ride the roads it's very easy to load the required fuel map. If an improved map becomes available it can easily be loaded.

Also if I ever sell the bike and want to put it back to stock I can can simply refit the original exhaust system, remove the PCV and it will run properly.

I had my ZX14R 's ECU done by Dyna Tronics early last year and lately it is messing around, bike wont run over 302km/h in top gear, will only rev to 10300 rpm in 6th, in all the other gears my bike is strong( Brocks ct full system, bazzaz ).
My advice is to go with Brocks Drag Flash 2.

It's been a few weeks since my ecu got flashed by guhl motors. But i had it on the bike with stock exhaust for a week before my r77 slipons came. I had it tweaked for the new cans and honestly it ran fine with the stock exhaust. I now have the r77 cans on i can feel the difference. It does pop a little on deacceleration but not all the time and not bad at all. If you change the headers you most likely want the pcv. I dont plan on changing the headers so i opted for the ecu flash with the timing and fuel map. I'm very happy with the outcome.

You will get a printed sheet with it with very simple instructions. It might even be on Brock's website in pdf format.
