Any Chance for a Ninja 1000 page?

I don't see a Ninja 1000 page here at Bikeland.org. What's up with that???

I've been seriously considering getting 2013 for my wife, (and me when she's' not using it enough).

I can't wait for her to experience the smooth ride of an inline 4 and the power of a liter bike. Her first bike was a 250 Eliminator and now she rides a 650r Ninja. It's time. She's ready. She earned it. That little 650 buzzes and is lacking power once loaded up with stuffed saddlebags.

The kids have moved out, we paid our dues, and now I want to go on some seriously long rides around the country, or at least the west coast. That bike looks perfect for her. Only thing, I need to lower it an inch or two so she can sit flat-footed. They say it can be done. (We tried on the 650 and the link bumps up against the spring).

The Ninja 1000 is a full fairing, sport touring version of the z1000. Been out for a couple years now.

Have you ridden the bike? I was considering it until I rode it and found it to have SERIOUS vibration that comes thru the pegs, seat and bars. Go to one of the other sites and see that there is a lot of complaining about this issue. I bought a Yamaha FZ1 and couldn't be happier.

Yep all the tests I read said the same thing, vibration big time. Too bad considering how smooth the 14 is they didn't use some of their own technology on it. The other thing I noticed was how high the bars are, felt weird to me & with those cast things it would be hard to change bars to something lower & more comfortable. FAIL Kawi, no page for you.

I have one and I think it is a very fun bike. The power is excellent for what it is making somewhere in the neighborhood of 125 peak hp at the wheel. I've traveled long distances on the bike and you can definitely feel the vibration however it is not that big of an issue. The handling is a little different although this bike can be lots of fun in corners. My favorite part about the bike is the riding position. It is very comfortable for long periods of time. Overall I would recommend this bike to anyone who is looking for a powerful fun standard liter bike.

I have a 2011 z1000.. same lump and frame but naked with regular handlebars. It doesn't vibrate at all. It's not zx-14 smooth for sure.. but no real vibes at all. From what I have read from Ninja 1000 owners, the N1K has a weird vibe through the tank/frame and pegs. There just aren't these same vibes on the z1000 version of the bike. It's certainly a fun bike. If I could only have 1 bike it would probably be the N1k. Good thing I can have as many motorcycles as I want.

My z1000
