Good luck Rickey, hopefully you will have something for Johnny Dobrin and David Mercks this year, you were close with the nitrous bike.
Nitrous Records - ET: 7.763 MPH: 197.8 (both held by Jeremy Teasley on a ZX-14)
Turbo Records - ET: 7.777 (Johnny Dobrin Gen 2 Busa) MPH: 194.72 (Joey Gladstone GSXR1000)

I've seen Johnny go a lot faster on that bike then what I see him running in competition. I think he tunes it down for race day.

Has the horsepower been stepped up substantially since he hit the track with it for a little TNT down in Florida?

I have to be truly realistic, and realize it took Johhny a while to get his bike dialed in and I'm sure its going to take me some time too. I sacrificed riding the NOS bike which is definately a force to reckon with, to develop this 2012 Turbo,so I have to go thru growing pains with it.
So am i looking to win with it already..................thats not realistic...........am I looking to show the future potential of the new 2012......................ABSOLUTLEY!
If we go in the 8.0's range on the first weekend since we have no data with any substantial boost, I will totally impresed and happy.
It will take low 7.80's consistently to win against JOHNNY AND jEREMY, and lets not forget about my nephew who will be on the nitrous bike I went 7.85 on!
So again......wish me los of luck...................cause I will need it. You can follow my progress by liking "Whats up with Rickey Gadson" fan page

I hear you, it has taken Johnny a few years to be at this level with that bike. And don't forget Mercks, he has been in the 7.80s this year too, which is even more impressive since he weighs 220lbs. I think you will do well this weekend and we both know that at least you won't have to worry about the track, plus the temps are only suppose to be in the mid 80s on Sunday. Good luck to you.
