Im beat, did not get home till 5 am. Me and that bike has quite a personal relationship at this point. It sent me to the hospital friday after pulling the radiator cap while it was still hot. That ones gonna hurt in more than one way, they made me ride the helicopter because I injested hot water into my nose and mouth. I received the dumb ass award for that one, could have waited ten more minutes. It had a leak after I welded it (cut down), I I was rushing to repair it. Back to the bike, it only has a four pound spring in the gate and makes an actual 235hp on a very low compression motor. Just for correction, it made an actual 320 with 7 pounds on top of the gate, the actual boost was around 10 psi data logged. Our night at the track went fairly well, however we were face with typical new bike issues. I had a boost selenoid that was not grounded well and would not make positive boost. Then we dealt with tire spin also, and simply getting a new bike dialed and set-up for rider preference. If we can pull it off, we will test this week and get things sorted quickly hopefully. Thanks to Brock Performance for sending out a few clucth components that worked well. We used his2012 clutch kit with some bad ass springs, and simply put it worked flawlessly. Look at the 60 ft, and it held the power. I will be working on the bike this week, finishing small details. I will keep things updated, Thanks, Chris Jones.

10 psi made 320, ok . Ricky had posted 7 pounds made 320 and i just posted what he said on face book ...i know It took 15 pounds for Jesse's bike to make 300 ... so i would say 10 pounds to make 320 is very good ... I have to wonder what 15 psi is going to do on this bike ? I think Vic flipped Chris bike at somewhere between 18 and 20 pounds of boost at the 1000 foot mark ...This new bike should fly when they get it dialed in ...

I have never owned a turbo, but was told. 10 hp for every 1 pound of boost. Which sounds about right, although I think the 14 can beat those numbers by a little bit. Sorry to hear Chris had the run-in with a radiator. I've had that happen before, it's something you never forget.
Any numbers on how much boost it can make?
Ken

We didn't use much boost on Jesse bike .. 3 pounds out of the hole and then added 4 or 5 more down track .. All runs , dyno and track were done on C16 ..No timing pulled ..

E85 would have been cool but back then we didn't have any around here .. I used c16 because i just knew Jesse would blow it up if we didn't use it .. It may have been over kill but better than burning a piston ..

It states "very low" compression motor. Anyone care to share that number? This bike is making a ton of power given the boost level. The head must be flowing like mad. How much work is in the head? Anybody know? Thanks.

Compresstion in a true (static) 9.6:1 c/o a set of custom CP Pistons, the head is stock w/ the exception of a set of heavy-duty springs. The new 14r head is a better port flow design, along with slightly higher lift on the cams. Don't ask me the numbers, but I measured them at one point. I just don't remember the exact numbers. But if memory is correct, it is in the .015 range more. The turbo on that bike is a custom Garrett gt-series w/ a billett compressor wheel. It has a 54mm inducer, that is legal for Real Street.

The horsepower number based on wastegate spring is consistent with what mine makes. That is still very incredible and look forward to seeing more pictures! Great job Chris and hope you are doing better.

Also do you have a clue on how big the stock injectors are? No one knows about the injectors yet lol

That's why this site is so cool... We have the best of the best popping on and chatting about these bikes on a daily basis, and answering questions for people who have never given them a penny. I tell you this, if I'm ever in the market to for a turbo bike Chris is the first person i'll contact.

Bike was written up in Two Wheel Tuner Magazine
Motor was shipped down and tuned by Jones Performance in Florida.
gen 2 320hp on 10lbs vs gen 1 280hp on 12lbs ..must be the wide tire and jack shaft eating hp
