We are not in OH this weekend, Roy...

BLK ICE, did not realize you were like 350 lbs, or whatever. You should add that to your signature, then the 5.9 in the 1/8th will seem a lot more noteworthy. You have to admit, being in the 5 second 1/8th club is not a big deal these days. Hell, I didn't even know there was a " Bikeland 1/8 mile 5 sec.N/A Stock Motor Club"!! When I first broke into the 5's, 4 years ago, it was at 750+ lbs combined, pump gas, as practically a noob. Can't you take a little ribbing? It's not like you don't dish it out!

As far as my racing, I am not a big-time drag racer like you. I like to have fun. Sure, I race people at the dragstrip, but I don't have time to race every week, or even every month. We set our modest goals and then work to achieve them, in LSR and at the dragstrip.

For some people it is competition, "beating someone else", that drives them. For others it can be a race against the clock, or pushing your personal limits. That is also part of what separates the LSR mindset, generally, from dragracing.

5's are "no big deal" to me personally anymore, as I have reduced my E/Ts considerably. However, when I first acheived my goal of running a 5 sec. pass it was a very big deal as it is to every drag racer I know.

The first 5 sec. pass "signifies" that a racer can successfully apply the basic fundamental of drag racing (as covered in smokin's "drag racing 101"). To master the basics is a "Note Worthy" mile stone and no easy task for a "noob"(no matter what they weigh) ; and should not be belittled by a big-time "been there done that 5.77 sec." drag racers like you.

"Can't you take a little ribbing?"
Yes I can, I was just ribbing you back with the comments I made about your racing.

Wow, these "Fastest Stock Motor, Stock Bodywork, Hand Clutch, N/A Super Heavy Hitter on the Planet!" guys sure are sensitive. Lighten up, man. Nobody is belittling anyone...it's not like I called you mentally unstable, claimed you never raced anyone, that any races you had were unworthy, that you put a girl on your bike 'cause you can't ride good....that was you, remember? I think you did in fact "flip out" on me.

But of course, your 5.9x is remarkable. After all, you have been crowned the fastest on the planet.

"Fastest Stock Motor, Stock Bodywork, Hand Clutch, N/A Super Heavy Hitter on the Planet!" Is a line I jokingly added to my signature line after posts I made here (zx14.com) and on Psychobike.com(a long time ago) ;openly posting my drag racing results for the purpose of evaluating my performance. The responses and conclusions were favorable.

At this rate, we are going to have 3 pages of you attacking my signature line and me responding back. Now that will be "Boring"!
However, carry on if you must.
