2012 zx14r owners: how long have you had it and how many miles?
I have had mine for just under 2 months and I am at 1200 miles. Next

bought it in January first green SE that was brought from the warehouse. Just went over 4600miles today.

Wow. You gotta be kidding. Man you must really enjoy riding aggressively. Way to go. We've been through about a dozen on my old school 14 in just over a year but we drag race a lot.

Bought my ZX14R SE Feb. 28th 2012, Just turned over 3400k . Replacing 1st rear tire monday,.....still has some tread, Damn drywall screw!

Got mine in march and it's at 3600 miles now. Haven't had time to ride for the last 3 weeks.

The only thing I can figure is too many "jack-rabbit" launches. My morning commute is 37 traffic lights over 20 miles. Figure my common launch accel rate is 0-60mph in six seconds... and I'm 6 foot four, 350lbs.
My ride home is more corner intensive so the center of the rear gets a little break in the action.

Bought May 11th. 2700 miles. About ready for rear tire. The first Gen 14s with the flys out I was getting about 1500 out of a tire. Tire consumtion is the only thing stopping me from pulling the flys.

Got my 14R SE on 31March done 2600Km's still first rear tyre in good condition, best bike ever. Brocks A/Head full system.

Picked up mine at the beginning of May, just in time for our wettest Spring since records began. We had two bike meetings the other week, both cancelled because of the weather. Don't need to ride it for daily transport so it's only done about 400 miles so far.

Purchased end of March and didn't do too much riding in April but I have 3700 miles! Not quite ready for a new rear tire!
