What would it take to run 6.50's 1000ft
Theoretically speaking: would a 69in 2012 14r with an ah2,pc, clutch mod, auto shift , 47or 48mm throttle
Bodies a head done by Jim at Competition CNC and a 75-80 shot of nitrous with a 175 pound rider
and a 1.30 sixty foot time run 6.50's in the 1000 ft. Stock clutch and stock suspension.

A half second quicker, especially to the 1000' mark is tough to get when you're already running as quick as Lee is. Good luck in your quest. If you get it you're sure riding the heck out of the bike. That would make you somewhere in the neighborhood of a high 7.80 to low 7.90 bike in a 1/4 mile.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Lee but he doesn't have 48mm throttle bodies, a CNC head, or 80 shot of nos, that might help a little you think? lol

Yes, those things will certainly help. But Lee is already going so quick and fast that it really gets hard to gain a half second at 1000' over what he's doing. Check out some high 7 second bikes and look at their 1000' incremental. See where I'm coming from????

60 Foot 1.09
330 Foot 3.14
660 Foot 4.94
660 MPH 137.55
1000 Foot 6.50
1/4 Mile ET 7.83
1/4 Mile MPH 169.19
and you can forget the 1.09 60 foot LOL these numbers come off the calculator 1.29 would be more reasonable. So probably a bike that run 760s would probably be a reasonable ET for a 6.50 thousand foot.

no, those are probably about the mph with a 80 shot and a175 pound rider. depending on what time a year you tried this, probably between 8.05 and 8.15 and you would need at least a 69 inch wingarm.

No, I don't think a lot more MPH. Maybe a little. 170-171 would be my guess. Remember the OP isn't a true lightweight so he's probably not going to run anywhere near what Lee runs on the motor.

I for one do not think it would do it. My jockey thinks it will. I am thinking that setup will run 6.80's 1000 ft 8.00-8.19 1/4 mile. But I guess we will find out. Probably going to start ordering parts tomorrow. Will probably wind up getting a lightweight battery and some gale speed wheels. Then will start looking at some other cheap ways to save weight. Does the new bike have the 3 pound rubber mat over the motor? I guess I really need to start reading Shane's thread to get some ideas on weight savings. Also Lee (smokin) you gonna do any traveling this year? I would like to get you to make some passes once we get it set up to see what you can do on it.

RG's RST bike probably got damn close to 6.50 1000', but he trapped 197 mph with all the dope that's on that bike.
Not really an apples to apples being shorter wheelbase and a 1570 or bigger with 200hp of spray.
