can someone tell me why i can't do this..

why can't i send a rear rim to kosman and get it widen to accept a car tire... i think a 215 50 17 or something in that neck of the woods..

You can ...But be carefull because some car tires use a different size bead than a motorcycle tire ..I did this to my 85 Vmax and used an M/T Car tire slick and it worked ok .. But it was one hard mother to install and get the tire to bead up .. Worse case is the tire coming off the bead at super high speeds .. Either Way Kosman does very very nice work .. I had them also do my CBX wheels back in 1980 ...

i just know if i keep my bike i can't keep doing what i'm doing.. i like racing but i'm tired of losing due to mis-shifts from tire spin..i'll go by the tire shop tomorrow and talk about soft compounds and tire bead sizes.. and do some measurements on my rim to swingarm and chain clearances

Your best bet if you are not going to use a slick would be a MT Drag Radial , i don't know if the make them in the size you need .. Maybe also check With BFG Drag Radials , they may have a smaller size for import cars .. Kumo also makes a good Drag Radial ..

talk to them ..guar·an·tee ..me that under cutting will fix it .. i'll put a transnmission in the mail next week .. turn around time 6 weeks ..

car tire is easier to change out than breaking down the motor .. i'd have to save that break down until its refresh time .. so i'm gonna lose some more races in the mean time...

going to a wider rim and maintaining the same size tire will get more rubber on the ground. most of the PST bikes use either a 6.625 or a 6.75 rim do they not?

yeah ...and it gone faster than your bike ever will no matter what brock sells you.. 7.78 with a what 350lb rider...300lb rider shoulds do 7.60's and with the right tune of course 7.40's... put JT on it 6.90's.. you 14R fags just got to quit hating since it out of y'alls class BUT THE SAME PRICE
