take the valve cover all the way off.do you have any threads showing to clamp some needle nose visegrip pliers to loosen.if not see if you can get the treads that are broke off in the head to loosen with a stubby straight blade.next try to use a right angle drill to tap and use an easy out.if not your fucked and gonna have to remove the head or engine..........

Take that one cam cap off that has the broken bolt and work on it on the bench. you will have much better luck getting it out then.
If you cant get it out then you will have to drill it and use an easy out. Maybe even helicoil the threads after.
Be careful not to ruin that cap. its machined and matched to the head.

Just a note since these bolts bottom out and are snug , tightening them more wont tighten the valve cover seal and or stop a leak. there shouldered bolts. You need to put a thin washer under the head of the bolt. This will apply more crush force on the seals and gasket.

sorry for the wrong info on my part.i did`nt get the manual out to refresh my old brain.it`s been 3 years since i adjusted mine the last time.it is amazing that the bolt broke before cracking that big cam cap....when you install the cap tighten each bolt a little moving around till all are seated.the cap wobbles a little on the cams.......at least you DO NOT
have to remove the head or engine thank god...........
